Strength Training for Women

Today, strength training for women is becoming more popular because it is a way to strengthen the muscles and tone the body. You do not have to do an intense weight lifting routine to strengthen the body. Strength training can be done with hand weights or a weight machine. A woman’s body can endure more changes because of childbirth, hormonal changes and even surgical procedures. If a woman has a hysterectomy, the muscles in the stomach will need to be worked when the time is right. (more…)
