Eating A High Fibre Diet: Key To Weight Loss For Women

It is well documented that eating a high fibre diet on a daily basis is good for your health. Not only do they provide you with valuable nutrients but the roughage act like a little scurb brush for your intestines to help maintain a healthy digestive system. In addition, eating lots of fibre can aid weight loss for women. There three reasons for this:

1. Fibre takes longer to digest therefore you feel fuller longer. As a result, you tend not to snack as much.

2. Fibre absorbs water while it is being chewed and expands when it reaches your stomach making you feel full.

3. Most dietary fibre is low in calories.

Now for those of you who have wheat allergies such as myself, you can eat more fruit, vegetables, brown rice, and nuts.  Just make sure to introduce the a high fibre diet gradually into your daily routine to avoid suffering from gas or constipation.
